Mercurey Bouchard Philippe 2022

The Mercurey by Philippe Bouchard is a robust Pinot Noir from the Côte Chalonnaise, just south of Beaune, where the climate allows for intensity and freshness in the glass, expressed at the highest levels. On the nose, it is intense, with a dark fruit side, spicy notes, and a hint of licorice. On the palate, it has good structure, with present tannins and balanced freshness, closed by a long finish, ideal pairing with braised beef.
