'Jour de Soif' Domaine du Bel-Air 2024

The Bourgueil 'Jour de Soif' from Domaine du Bel-Air is the most immediate cuvée of the winery, the ‘refreshing’ wine that the Gauthiers recommend serving chilled in a bucket, without ice. It comes from red berry grapes on gravel and clay terraces and rests in tank on the fine lees. On the nose, it opens with aromas of raspberry and strawberry, with a hint of violet. On the palate, it is light and juicy, with no perceptible tannin, smooth and refreshing, with a salty finish that invites another sip, ideal with a country terrine or a plate of cold cuts
