The Cotes Catalanes Rosé 'Mar i Muntanya' from the Domaine de l'Horizon winery is born in Roussillon, between the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees, a connection that the name itself evokes, sea and mountain. The Grenache Noir, Syrah, Carignan, and Mourvèdre grapes come from young vineyards on sandy soils, vinified in steel where the aging continues for nine months. On the nose, it offers fresh notes of red fruits and delicate flowers, on the palate it is fresh, savory, and balanced. It pairs well for an aperitif, with a summer salad, or a dish of scorpion fish.
